It was an incredible inaugural year of high school football, Wednesday, Thursday and even sometimes Friday night lights. Vandegrift High School made it's debut with the garduating classes of 2012 and 2013 as a freshman and sophomore high school for it's first year. Each year, a new class will be added thus making Emily's class the first graduating class of VHS.
With all the pomp and circumstance of high school comes football season and in our family, the marching band season. Emily dedicated SO much time and energy to her practices and performances. There is no doubt that the band kids and directors put in more hours than the football team in practice and competitions on those numerous Saturdays spent away from home. Always at the helm was the leaders who lead the band, the ultimate team, to success. This amazing band, it's students and it's parents and many supporters lied in the hearts of the incredible directors while their enthusiasm and constant growth showed every day. Here at home, the honor and dedication showed in Emily as well. Thank you, Jeremy Spicer & Mike Howard, for all your hard work and dedication.
