Putting up the Christmas Tree

Loving and abiding by the tradition, the girls put up their very first Christmas ornaments from the year they were born. Each year, a new ornament is added in their honor to the tree and marked with that year. I try to relate the ornaments to something symbolic and memorable for that particular year which easily takes our memories back to a special time. Someday I'll give these special ornaments to the girls which I'm sure will be a while after they've left the nest, but I definitely enjoy these special moments and recounting memories past with them. I embrace the "someday" when they'll have the ability to pass this tradition on to future generations. Merry Christmas!
